It occurs to me that I should write and let you all know I am still alive.  What has happened to October?  It seems like just yesterday that the kids were celebrating Halloween.  In the month of November, I spent two days at a teacher conference, a weekend scrapbooking, and a week at home for Thanksgiving.

My travels have been very well spent.  I enjoyed my time at home and was very happy with the visit.  I had a much needed rest as well.  I hated having to go back to work today.  Things are very overwhelming this time of year.  There is a lot of paperwork a couple of reports that are due with work for those reports that I didn't realize I had to do.  It is totally my fault, I tend to put things off to the last minute.  I thought I had most of the major report due in the middle of December done with just a few touch-ups to be made.  As I reviewed the information that a collegue had given me after going to a meeting for me, I found out that there was a whole part that I hadn't done.  It was entirely annoying.  I am quite glad that I found it in time to get it done before it's due.  It's just a lot of extra work I wasn't planning on doing and may mean a couple of late days at work.  Hopefully not, though.

December is already planning on being a busy time for me with: a Newsong/Todd Agnew Concert, Holiday Craft Extravaganza, School Christmas Party, and Church Christmas Play (which I am helping with again).  That doesn't include the weekly/monthly women's meetings that I go to and hanging out with friends.  Mom told me not to get too overworked and make sure I get my rest.  I am excited about it, but will also be glad when December is over.

I'll try to write a couple of times this month, but if I don't I guess you can figure out why.
